“Fun for everyone”
Reviewed September 17, 2011

It was the first week of September. There were no so many people. Waiting time for the attraction is less than 5 min. There are so many different rides for different age. My son was very happy. We spent a day in this park ( there is SEA LIFE inside this park - very interesting place). Transportation system in Helsinki is very easy-to-use and you can get to the park by tram. I like Linnanmaki very much.

“Overcrowded”
Reviewed July 21, 2011

Very disappointing experience. The place was overcrowded, they had clearly taken more customers than take could handle. I just wonder what kind of panic and catastrophe there will be if the fire alarm goes off... We could only go on a few rides due to extremely long queues. Funniest thing is that their outdoor snackbars have only a handful of tables, so most people have to eat their lunches standing.

“All good fun”
Reviewed June 24, 2009

Plenty of rides for all ages, reasonably small queues despite being quite busy. I took three kids aged 9+ and they were tall enough for all the rides. It was quite expensive at £120+ for 4 wrist bands, and food outlets were quite limited if you wanted something other than burgers and chips!

“Fun for the whole family”
Reviewed September 22, 2008

Although relatively small, Linnamäki has everything you need for a full day of fun. There are rides suitable for all ages so if you're travelling with young children they won't be left standing disappointed while mum and dad brave the gut wrenching Kirnu. If, however, you're like me and like your rides to give you a near death experience then there's really only a couple of rides here that will deliver. The aforementioned Kirnu is one, the Raketti (space shot style fire you up in the air type affair) is another and then there's the vomit inducing Kieppi. As well as rides there are numerous fairground style stalls where you can throw and shoot at things for prizes, a hilarious maze of mirrors (where if you're evil like me you can simply stand and laugh as other unfortunate people run head first into walls) and a 3D ghost walk. Entrance to the park itself is free but of course you wouldn't go there just to walk round and entrance to the rides costs. I was there twice this summer and if I remember correctly an all day wristband for an adult, including entrance to the Sealife centre was €43. It sounds pricey but when you consider you could spend all day there and go on rides as many times as you like it's actually quite good value. As for food it's your standard theme park fare of burgers, candy floss and ice cream. There are a couple of restaurants such as the Safari family restaurant, an eat as much as you like buffet style place, but from personal experience of eating the aging lettuce and crusty dried up pizza slices on offer I would recommend going to Lintsiburger across the way. Their burgers are spectacular and their curly fries are a stand alone reason for going to Linnanmäki.

“Finntastic!”

All those frigtened faces, just before that Space Shot shoots off.......BOOM! Up they shoot! Linnanmaki is a great place to go with rides ranging from stuff for the littlest of children to the craziest of daredevils. If youre not really in to the rides, there's always the bar and sea world to have some more, relaxing fun. After a hard day of riding rides, it's probably time for a snack. Linnanmaki has a great selection of foods to choose from to satisfy your hunger for a while. This is a really excellent place to go with your kids or with a friend and i would recomend this to anyone who loves amusement parks.
