The Finn Hotel does not pretend to be what its not but you get great value for your money and excellent service from its very friendly staff. The rooms are not huge but more than adequate and in fact surprisingly spacious once you get used to them. The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a convenient breakfast arrangement with the cafe next door but you are better off finding some little cafe of your choice. I would recommend it and I would stay there again. Helsinki is a beautiful city and the Finns are a very friendly and beautiful people - highly recommended!

Room Tip: If you hate waiting in a line avoid the buffet breakfast at the restaurant next door

Four of us stayed two nights at Hotelli Finn in the very heart of downtown Helsinki! As they advertise, this is not a five star hotel, but it was adequate & reasonably priced. It a couple or family or small group is looking for an inexpensive place to stay in the very center of downtown & the action of a vibrant city. This is a good place. It is not luxurious, but for those looking for less than luxury, it is quite acceptable. The staff was wonderful! PRH

The location is great, walking distance to most places in the main part of the city. Stayed in the middle of the summer week and the price was very high which is typical of summer months.

Wifi for the most part did not work in the room, only worked in the hallway.

Small hotel шт the center with friendly stuff. We had an early departure and it was very convenient to check out just leaving the key at reception. This is the best choice if the main goal - to see the city. There are a lot of cafes and shops nearby. The only negative - the absence of sound insulation.

Surprisingly low price, given its position within 10 minutes walk from the main railway station. Small but nice, clean and quiet room with crappy Wi-Fi coverage (mobile-from time to time, laptop-no chance). Service and late arrival arrangements were great, everything worked as it was supposed to.

Breakfast deal with nearby restaurant.

Overall, if you need only a place to sleep for a good price, near city centre, without desperate need for a data connection, this is your choice.

We stayed in two different rooms at Hotel Finn- the first faced the inner courtyard and was very quiet but tiny. It was fine for sleeping- would be cramped if we spent any time there, but fine for an overnight. No closet and just two narrow twin beds. The other room was across the hall, overlooking the street, so there was a bit of street noise at night, but not bad. It had a larger bedroom but very small bathroom and still no closet. The price is right for what you get, and I highly recommend the breakfast at the associated restaurant, where you get a huge buffet for only 5 euros. Great central location, too.

Room Tip: Inside rooms are quiet (we stayed in 511), while outer room was larger but noisier (513).

Good value for money, pretty good location near shops and restaurants but........the free wifi in the rooms is poor. It was a weak signal and kept slowing, stopping and then vanishing for long periods. Really annoying if you have work to do.

Either get it sorted out or stop advertising that you provide wifi.

Also, I didn't really appreciate a random female bursting into my room at 1.00am! Although she apologised it didn't fill me with confidence that she had a working key card for my room!
