Not only was the food great, it was a fun evening! This was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to and we had just come from dining at a Michelin star restaurant in Copenhagen and thought this was way better! The Chef has a unique fun personality and took his time to explain each dish being offered. He did such a good job that we went for the entire 9 courses (72 Euros) and LOVED each one! Good portions too because we are both big eaters and we were full (I'm always worried about being hungry after fine dining places). He picks his ingredients fresh that day and will only use whatever is in season. The dishes came together in such a unique beautiful way too! He's extremely creative, fun, passionate and talented. The Sommelier was great too, he made good wine suggestions and he would also help serve the dishes. The restaurant is very small in a quaint residential part of town so the Chef and Sommelier do the serving and they have about 3 sous chefs helping in the kitchen. So the whole dining experience was very relaxed, unpretentious, full of personality and fun. Seriously, one of the best nights eating out that my friend and I have ever had and we eat out often! Book way in advance because their business has skyrocketed since the New York Times review came out! GO HERE IF YOU'RE IN HELSINKI!
