This hotel has one of the best locations, and the views from the top floors are amazing. The top floor bar is one of a kind. Great restaurant, if you are in to fine dining. Clean rooms and friendly staff, that helps you with everything.

Stayed one night on business / good central location on cobbled side street, very quiet location.
Room was usual scandinavian style, lots of black wood but reasonably sized and quiet.
Lobby and hotel decor is definitely a bit odd / from the antique lift to the so called "american" bar and the "irish" bar (whats wrong with having a finnish bar in Finland?).
Breakfast was standard continental fare but with different items on tables at every corner, it took five minutes of wandering around to assemble a breakfast on your table.
Apparently also known as the Tower Hotel as it used to be the highest building before the second world war and was used as a billet by the Allies at the time the carve up of the Baltic was agreed with the Soviets. It still retains something of that feeling....
Staff were excellent, but all signage (as seemed usual in the area) was in Finnish and Swedish only - no english notices or directions, rather odd for an international destination I thought.

Torni hotel is near to everything you need. Nice rooms and the staff is very friendly. Only bad things to mention is the lack of sauna (Well I`m Finnish, I need my sauna everywhere..haha) and the breakfast was a bit cold.

This hotel has a lot of history. Russian control Comission stayed there after WWII.
The hotel has hosted many many celebrities and heads of state from various countries.

It has one of the best locations in central of Helsinki. You are close to everything, still away from the heavy traffic and noice. Just couple of blocks away from Mannerheimintie, the main "artery" going thru Helsinki, and all the attractions of the city.

The train station and subway are near by, also the main bus terminal is near by, all within walking distance.

Shopping malls and department stores also easy to reach, within walking distance.

Nice pub downstais, there you can meet locals and international guests having a drink in the afternoon (some stay till serving end...)

My choice to stay in Helsinki, make your reservation well before and have a nice stay.

I was here for one night. I arrived from Australia very early in the morning, after a long flight, and wasn't sure if I could check in early. The women at the front desk were very nice and helpful, and they let me check in straight away, which was a big relief. Very central hotel, love the art deco style. Nice room, comfortable bed, big bathroom and shower. Breakfast was sumptuous. Also, ask the reception staff about the heated walk through the Forum Shopping Mall - I walked with my luggage on a cold, rainy day all the way from the Hotel to the Railway Station, where I caught the Finnair bus back to Vaata airport.
