Came to dine on a very cold January evening. We had the first slot (from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and had the house menu. We were greeted like we were friends with the staff. Niki himself told us about the menu and wines he recommended with it. First we had salmon pastrami, which was close to perfection. The portions were just enough, not too small, not too big. Main course, lamb or fish (made season had just started) were delicious and the wines complemented it. I am not too fond of cheeses, especially Stilton, but I do understand they belong to a whole menu. The wild cherry jam with the cheeses was superb. Dessert continued the quality of the other dishes. Even though we did want to stay a bit longer, we knew when we had to leave to let the next guests in. Will definitely come again, we felt right at home. Love the service, love the food, love the wines!
