I've stayed in the hostel for 3 nights. It's one of the cheapest accommodation in Helsinki. The rooms were clean but very basic. Tourist locations are within walking distance (5-15 minutes). There is only one elevator in the hostel, so sometimes I had to wait quite long for it, what is annoying, especially when you're going with the luggage.
The restaurant serves very good food in acceptable prices.
