EuroHostel Helsinki. The rooms are tidy and basic but the Hostel is rather expensive. The feel to the place is it tying to be a hotel? Everything costs money. WiFi is 5€ per day, breakfast costs 7€ you need to put a 10€ deposit on a key to put your stuff in the fridge. Which has locked boxes inside the fridge. There is a restaurant below which serves very basic food but quite good and reasonable prices for Helsinki. Some of the staff were very helpful while others seamed annoyed by us asking questions.
The bathrooms are clean, the kitchen/ kind of common area is clean but very limited. There are plates, bowels, knives and forks and only 2 cups. Which your NOT aloud to remove but they were never there. There is no kettle or toaster.
The hostel is very close to a tram stop which takes you straight into the city centre and right to the main station.
We enjoyed our stay in Helsinki. More
