Back when this used to be where Helsinki ends and countryside begins. It's a place to stroll around, feed squirrels and relax watching the sea. Also a display of buildings brought here from the regions.

Seurasaari is full of experiences: outdoor activity, historical houses, restaurants, picnic places, beach, beautiful views. You can deside how long walk you take, there are well markes routes.

In weekends it is hard to find parking place so it's convinient to come by bike or bus.

Travel back into early life in Finland. There are over 30 buildings that cover many different areas and time periods. You can walk in a explore life as it previously was. A fun time for both adults and kids.

An easy bus ride from downtown and you are in the Finnish countryside surrounded by historic houses. From the grand Parson's manner to the Laplander's hut you get an idea of what life might have been like in the Finnish countryside in the up until the 20th century. Docents doing traditional crafts will interpret the displays for you in the summer. Spent a fine afternoon there. And ten minutes you're back in the city.
