You walk across a long wooden bridge onto an island small enough to walk around in about an hour. It has ancient wooden houses, huts, storage buildings and incredibly long wooden rowing boats dotted around it, offering an insight into the Finland of old. These have been brought from all around Finland. Partly forest, it has numerous, quite tame red squirrels and varied bird life. A very nice peaceful place with good views out to sea.
