In addition to enjoying a wonderful view of the harbour, you can find there a local market selling Finnish items, fish, furs, finnish dishes. it's located at a stone throw from Senate square and Alexanterinskatu ( main shopping street).
Have a stroll among the stalls on your way to the Ferry boat and get an overview of the Finnish culture !
Enjoy

What I love, again, about Helsinki, is its Shopping Street.
Very walkable for pedestrians and shoppers.
I enjoyed my 3-day trip in Helsinki.
I love being walking in Esplanade and doing window shopping.
Finnish, in my opinion, has very unique design, which you could see in Esplanade area.

The Esplanade is compact and walkable. This place is lovely and well-maintained, with lots of shops and café on either side... a very nice experience.

We walk along the Esplanade every time we are in Helsinki, and check out famous shops such as Marimekko, Anteeksi, Arabia (now littala) Artek...Not that we can afford to go all our in these shops, but we still enjoy exploring them

should be nice in summer, but it was freezing cold there in March, and all white. it's smaller than I expected before, but the location is perfect that it's sandwiched by lovely streets full of shops of typical finnish design, such as artek, liitala, marimekko, and etc. definitely should try the old cafe there. love it sooooo much!!
