I love the hustle and bustle of markets and this was right near the harbour which gave it another dimension. I enjoyed seeing the boats from which traders were selling their wares though there were only 2 and I was expecting more. There were stalls selling fruit and veg, cooked food, souvenirs, etc. In general things were pretty pricey so we didn't actually get anything except for Omena Possu which was freshly baked - nice, warm, apple-ly and sugary. I went back to try to find the stall before we left Helsinki, but it wasn't there : ( There is easy access to harbour boat trips too, if you're so inclined. I laughed at the comments on here about the seagulls - hilarious! We definitely saw the ice cream of a lady being attacked, so yes, be warned!!! There were also swamps of seagulls crowding around this guy who was trying to eat - poor guy! A place you will invariably end up in when in Helsinki and it's really nice to spend some time there! We were there practically every day we were in Helsinki!
