So nice charmy boutique hotel 5 mins walking to the city center. Lovely light free breakfast, fast wi-fi, quiet rooms. Not very clean, however. 135 euro, nice.
Anyway, good option, but very similar to the others finnish hotels.

Recommended by a friend, I was not disappointed. Friendly service, trendy & comfortable rooms, good choice of TV channels, super shower, great location, couldn't fault!

I was lucky to get an upgrade and enjoyed my stay very much. Very centrally located, in a quiet side street. Excellent bed. Great coffee machine, great shower. Breakfast was good, though in a busy environment close to the reception. I would certainly stay again.

We spent two nights here and had a near-perfect experience.

The hotel is very well-located (quiet street but very close to the town centre) and is small but stylish. Our room was monochrome, chic and beautifully designed, although not exactly cosy - very Finnish and functional. I was a little disappointed that there were no tea/coffee-making facilities in the room, but then I'm a real caffeine fiend.

Breakfast was absolutely fabulous, a buffet-style continental breakfast with huge variety and excellent, fresh ingredients - fantastic. The lobby area serves as a bar and the staff make a very good G&T, although it's not a lively place and there is no restaurant so you shouldn't plan to spend your evenings here.

But by far the most impressive was the service we received from the charming, helpful and extremely professional staff, of whom I can't speak highly enough. On both nights the girl at reception gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, and managed to find us a table at a great place (Aino, on the Esplanadi) at the very last minute on a Saturday night, having phoned a vast number of places which were all fully booked. And to cap it all, she'd made sure to confirm that it served a good reindeer fillet (my other half's request). Everything was made to seem easy and no trouble at all, and all the staff were polite, friendly and anxious to check we were enjoying our stay without being overbearing.

All in all - a lovely place!

We booked the hotel having researched on Trip Advisor and seen this held the number 1 spot.

We were not disappointed. We arrived in Helsinki with temperatures on minus 20 and were greeted by the friendly staff.

The style room on the 6th floor was sufficient for our purpose and accommodated another single bed to the side for our 4 year old daughter.

The room was nicely designed with wooden floor and designer furniture and the bathroom had a heated floor.

The only downside (which we were aware of before arriving) was the absence of a bath. One further thing that could have been better was the fact that we had effectively two singles pushed together (a pet hate of mine!). However as we didn't spot this when we first got assigned the room we did not complain.

The hotel is very small downstairs as there is no restaurant although we felt that this was not really a bad thing. The hotel felt cosy, friendly and if you are looking for a trendy cocktail bar in the evening you can
always visit Klaus K, Hotel Kamp or Hotel Torni's 14th floor bar with great views over Helsinki.

One final thing to mention was the continental breakfast which was exceptional. The lady running this is so attentive and keeps the whole thing running to an extremely high standard. We loved the porridge and hot eggs!

Overall a tremendous find and we would totally recommend.

I have been to most of the best hotels in Helsinki, I would definitely go back to this one! The location is not bad, just 200m from the Esplanade. The room was designer style with Finnish modern influence. The bed and the shower amazing, the breakfast was of unbelievable quality. The only shortcoming of teh hotel is that the breakfast area is small and next to the reception/lobby. The price was excellent for what we got, €150 per night

Room Tip: Get a stype plus room, its amazing!

My wife and I stayed for three nights in January 2012. Very comfortable, quiet and furnished with taste. It is very close to the city centre and the design district (Helsinki is a small city anyhow). Excellent breakfast, served in a sort of "open kitchen" in the main lobby. Overall a very satisfactory experience.
