We took a Viking Grace cruise in July and as a family with children aged 9 and 11 really enjoyed the trip. Solely the astonishing Swedish and Finnish archipelago with extremely beautiful summer villas make the cruise enjoyable. But the cruise boat adds more to your holiday - it is furnished nicely, as a new boat is very clean and the service is smooth and friendly.

We ate in Oscar a la carte restaurang. The food and drinks were delicious and the view from our table next to the window was spectacular. On our way back from Stockholm we took the buffet option and that is probably nothing to be recommended. Just ok, but the limited 1,5 hour time for a buffet lunch was a bit short and the crowd rushed with their lunch in a unpleasant way. Felt unfortunately a bit like in a school diner.

Our cruisevwas blessed with a sunny summer day and we had drinks with our friends in the deck. There were nice couches, DJ playing and drinks were yummy. A nice memory to look back when it gets cold and dark after couple of months.

We take a cruise with Grace. Grace is new, clean and spacy ship. Of course, there was not much to do for teens, but stil,l it was a nice trip. Food was excellent, we ate peppersteaks, hamburgers and of course pizzas, and they were really good. (Best peppersteak for a long time for me). Place was Franks.

From turku to stockholm july 18-11, 2013
Going to sweden, we rode Viking Grace. I was told it's a new ship. And they are right, i am impress with the multi-level ship. I stayed in level 6. Cabin has 4 fold away bed, dresser and bathroom. It is very clean, nice bed to sleep on, soft pillow, complete with flat screen tv and strong wifi signal which is a definite plus compared to viking amorella which is rather outdated ship - rode this one from stockholm to turku.
Did some shopping in the duty free shop, ate at one of the cafe's which is open until 3am. Roam around the ship deck, had a drink at the club vogue - watched the show and just sit around at one of their many open seating area looking at the scenic views. Want to stay awake to enjoy staying on the ship but really got tired at 2:30am. So i got up early and stayed on the deck again to enjoy the cool air and scenic views again. It would really be a wonderful vacation with friends or family.
Very satisfied with my night travel at viking grace.

Did 2 cruises back to back on Viking Line.
Boarded Gabriella in Stockholm on a gorgeous hot afternoon. Spent a few hours on sun deck, they had a bar, BBQ and entertainment and DJ while the boat rolled slowly passed the beautiful archipelago. Our cabin was a stunning balcony LUX cabin which was very good value and certainly a lot cheaper than the competition's similar offerings. Service and food in restaurants was all excellent and good value. All staff on board were very helpful and courteous. Plenty of evening entertainments onboard in the evening finishing with a DJ into the early hours. Cinderella was also fantastic all round , my only complaint is that it's only 21 hours aboard and there is so much to do on that boat in that time. Can't recommended them more. The Competition on these routes don't even come near Viking Line for service, especially after having a miserable experience on 1 of the competitors boats last month (major problems with staff attitude and a cabin above a disco). Viking Line were happy to help with anything, and even granted specific requests via Email. This is my second year travelling with Viking Line and they keep getting better. Highly recommended. Will look forward to travelling them again next summer.

I strongly recommend Viking Line for a roundtrip tour between Helsinki and Tallin. Practical, reliable, good ship and excellent infrastructure. In Tallin, only be careful and the harbour is not so well signaled.
