Stopped here for lunch after walking all morning to see the Olympic Park and Sibelius monument.
Made to feel very welcome , and had some lovely smoked salmon sandwiches and blueberry cake.
Charming location next to the shore
Can thoroughly recommend a visit :)

Regatta Cafe is located near by Sibelius monument. Small nice place with tasty cinnamon buns.
I visited there with my Japanese friend and he really like the peaceful feeling, sea and nice finnish people. I recommend warmly this Cafe to all. The second cup of coffee is free and you will get 5cents money.

Located in a beautiful and peaceful part of the city. A perfect place to sit a pass some time whilst having a coffee and maybe a bun.
You can also go see the Sibelius monument should you wish to do.
Don`t be put off coming here if you are in Helsinki in winter. The area has a real enchanting feel to it when blanketed in snow.

This café is probably our favourite place in town. Food and drinks are ok, but nothing extraordinary. What makes it worth a visit is the charm of the place. Located near the Sibelius monument directly at the bay, you have a great view towards Seurasaari. It is nice to sit outside in every season, have a coffee or a hot chocolate and enjoy a korvapuusti. You can also purchase sausages which you can grill on the fireplace.
A place not to miss when visiting the city.

This somewhat funky place is Helsinki's equivalent to New Orlean's Cafe du Monde, though smaller, and is everything it's cracked up to be. Just great for wasting time, people watching, and sipping beverages on the seaside wondering why you hadn't discovered it earlier. My daughter got a kick out of roasting sausages on a stick over an open fire outside and chatting with families and other kids doing the same. Who can possibly be stuffy strangers when you are all sitting around cooking hot dogs on a stick?
