We dropped in without reservation on wednesday eve and had no major expectations. Had the 3 course meal that was just great. Every course was a little tasty piece of art. Very cozy and relaxed ambience. Good attentive service. Nice selection of wines. A great culinary experience.

We enjoyed the 5-course surprise menu. One of us doesn't eat meat, but that was no problem for the restaurant, even though we took the surprise menu. The food was innovative scandinavian/french style and super tasty. Good price and quality ratio. The staff was friendly and flirty even, but not in an offensive or embarrasing way. We just thought it was cute.
This place is worth a visit.

I've been to Bistro 15 twice in the last 2 months and will go again. This cosy little restaurant in Punavuori is one of the new wave of gastronomic delights in Helsinki.

For lunch they usually have a selection of 3 dishes including a soup, pasta or risotto, and a meat dish. My colleagues were very satisfied with their selections and we finished the meal with a good strong coffee.

For dinner I went with a group of 12 and we had a 3 course meal selected by the chef. We started with antipasto a la Bistro, followed by lamb with amarone risotto or arctic char with cauliflower and beurre noisette, and ended with white chocolate pannacotta with raspberries. Everything was delicious and our group was very happy with the meal and the service.

A gastronomic foodies delight! We only chose 3 dishes all presented top class and tasted fresh and delicious - art on plates. Not bistro style food. More fine dining so chair furniture and table clothes could easily be more classy to match food. Great lighting, artwork, candles and cozy bar. Service with lots of information on food. We will be back and congrats to Chef!

We had purchased a promotional offer from Groupon for a three-course surprise menu for two and went to this place for a first time. I actually did not know this restaurant before, so I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. The service was friendly and the place had such a casual, intimate and cozy feeling that liked the ambience immediately.

We had snails for a starter had lamb in two different ways for a main course and both were very nicely prepared and very good. Then we had fabulous chocolate terrine with raspberry sorbet for dessert which was one of the best desserts I ever had. The amuse bouche in the beginning was a nice touch and the wine recommendations were spot on and we had a lovely time. I recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a modern, casual and friendly bistro with good food.
