A gastronomic foodies delight! We only chose 3 dishes all presented top class and tasted fresh and delicious - art on plates. Not bistro style food. More fine dining so chair furniture and table clothes could easily be more classy to match food. Great lighting, artwork, candles and cozy bar. Service with lots of information on food. We will be back and congrats to Chef!

We had purchased a promotional offer from Groupon for a three-course surprise menu for two and went to this place for a first time. I actually did not know this restaurant before, so I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. The service was friendly and the place had such a casual, intimate and cozy feeling that liked the ambience immediately.

We had snails for a starter had lamb in two different ways for a main course and both were very nicely prepared and very good. Then we had fabulous chocolate terrine with raspberry sorbet for dessert which was one of the best desserts I ever had. The amuse bouche in the beginning was a nice touch and the wine recommendations were spot on and we had a lovely time. I recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a modern, casual and friendly bistro with good food.

Have eaten here twice. 5 course chef's surprise menu both times. First time: 1st course salmon tartar was sublime! Raw salmon is easy to mess up. But their's amazing - better than Chez Domiques'! 2nd course risotto was also excellent. Main course (beef neck or cheek, can't remember) was ok. Cheeses were lovely, the fig jam and honey pine seeds again sublime! Unfortunately the dessert flopped. Apple three ways - kind of panna cotta (ok) with cider sorbet (ugh), cardamom foam (nice but where's the apple?), deep fried apple (crust was excellent but the innards could have been parsnip just as well). The second time was much more even, altough didn't have those superb highlights. Again had some raw salmon which was amazing!

I reviewed this earlier last year and somehow didn't give the green dot rating! So I'm just posting this to make sure you know it's much better than my other review at first glance.

Have eaten here 3 times in the past 2 years and each time we have had tremendous food, presented in a creative way. The menu is not extensive but the cooking is first rate. The setting is comfortable, and the staff friendly and enthusiastic. It is a little outside of the main part of the city (just a short walk from the excellent Design Museum), but in an interesting part of town. No hesitation in recommending the establishment. It can get very busy and so recommend booking.
