I have been many times in this church - lovely concerts and the accoustics is good. It is almost in the down town area. This is a real heaven.

“Go See It”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

This church makes an impression at the first moment--the rocks, the domed glass skylight topped with a large circle of copper--but if you stay a bit, you will feel a serenity evoked by its simple, yet ethereal design. You do not need to be religious to appreciate this church. In fact, it has very few clues that it is a church. Although there are bathrooms, they cost an exorbitant 1 euro--just consider it a donation for the upkeep of the building, since there is no fee just to see the church. You can reach it on the Number 3 tram--just ask the driver to tell you which stop (English is usually not a problem in Helsinki). Trams are quite easy--drivers make change, and if you pay 7 euros and keep your ticket, you can ride all trams for 24 hours, as well as the ferry to Suomenlinna Island to see the fortress.

“KYL male choir Christmas concert - beautiful!”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

I was lucky to get tickets to traditional KYL male choir Christmas concert last year in Helsinki. This beautiful church was totally in its essence when a male choir sang the most beautiful christmas songs :) I miss Helsinki and hope some of you in Helsinki have a chance to go this December!

“You should visit it!”

I really liked it. Very special and unique place. The rock walls were creating a great atmosphere. The acoustic of this place was also very good. Great place for concerts!
