We were enquiring about a weeks stay for the kids at Christmas and whilst another hotel in the village would have worked out quite a lot cheaper we decided to stay at the Nova simply because of the outstanding service and attention to detail from the lady who dealt with our enquiry. We loved it! Beautiful area, and the accommodation is first class, consists of cottages which include... your very own sauna! Saunas are a Finnish institution and you must try it. Staff was very helpful with transfers from and to the airport, booking activities such as husky sledding, just very accommodating. Food is very good both your breakfast buffet, and the a-la-carte restaurant with very fine cuisine.

All the great experience started from a phone call which I made a few months ago before our vacation. I called the hotel to confirm a few details before my booking. Melody, the front desk lady gave me all the information I needed to plan my 10 days trip for Finland.
She didn't hard sell her hotel, instead, she recommended a few other cities we should visit. That was very thoughtful of her.
After stepping into our two floor Forest Suite, my children(grown up adults) were so excited and keep saying how much they love this place.
We also had our first night dinner at the hotel. I need to be honest, its food is the best among the famous restaurants we went for the three nights we stayed in Rovaniemi.
By the way, we were so surprised hotel had their own reindeer in our courtyard. It's so enjoyable to watch them in short distance. (Melody was feeding them).
Another thoughtful service was Melody came to knock on everyone's doorsat 10pm to tell us Auroma can be seen in an hour. (at a Ivani hotel, this aurora alert service costs Euro10 per night).

The room we stayed in is beautiful, fully equipped, new and super clean. The only pity is the windows did not have auto defrost in snowy winter, this affected the view to possible aurora. We got in early and they granted an early check in which was great after 4hrs of traveling on the roads.
The in-house restaurant serve really good food, fresh ingredients brilliantly put together by the chef. It’s so gd that we had dinner there for 3 nights in a row. Breakfast spread was excellent too.
Most importantly, the service throughout the hotel from bellboy, front desk, service staff and even restaurant wait staff were great!
A special mention on Melody, a front desk staff. She had been a great host and help during our stay!

Perfect hotel for a few days in family, with twins of nine years, discovering Rovaniemi.
The staff is very friendly and always available to give us a pleasant stay. The hotel food is very good, buffet for lunch and "a la carte" for dinner.
The rooms are very clean and warm.
The huskies / reindeer / northen lights safaris can be booked at the hotel.

Been there with friends for winter activities .. liked the villa it's spacious great size.. the hotel staff is very friendly .. the breakfast buffet need some improvement .. some noise from near by construction. Other than this it's a good hotel
