Thank you very much for your valuable feedback! Delivery time of the photos from our tours is normally 5-7 days after the tour because of editing process. I'm really sorry if our guide forgot to mention this after the tour! But the good news are that we have send you a link with some photos from that night today 26th Sep, 3 days after the actual tour! :)
There is also beautiful photo taken of you two under the Aurora in horizon! Of course we were also hoping to see much bigger activity on that night, as the prediction was showing KP4 level storm, but sometimes mother nature stays quiet even we have best possible spot and great Aurora forecast for the evening! This is why we always go out with cameras to be able to capture even the smaller activity that we might not see that clear with our own eye.
I wish you anyway enjoyed the Aurora photos sent to you by email and I apologize if our delivery time of 3 days was too much. We will definitely look into this in future!

From the moment I met Markus, I knew our group would be in good hands! He was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
I love that when you arrive, you're provided with a backpack full of goodies to take out with you at night!
We went to 2 different spots over the night and Markus did a fabulous job helping everyone with their cameras, sadly I had some major issues with my camera settings and he really went out of his way trying to help me work out the settings and even googling and reading all sorts of manuals - I'm afraid it was just an issue with the camera, it wasn't good enough to take Northern Lights photos. I ended up having to take photos on my phone - which worked surprisingly well. (see photos)
I didn't feel rushed, Markus went on our timing and made sure we got all the photos we wanted and made us a lovely fire and showed us all how to cook some delicious sausages.
Not only did Markus help me with my own camera, he also offered to take photos of all of us with the lights in the background and sent them through to us the next day !
HIGHLY recommend this company!

Review of: Explore the Wilderness (Summer & Autumn)
We booked ahead, and while one of our activities was cancelled due to bad weather, these guys were happy to shift things around to accommodate us. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. We had a good (easy) hike in the national forest and caught nil-fish on our fishing trip, but enjoyed both thoroughly.

I booked two tours with Beyond Arctic even before arriving in Rovaniemi... their popular Discover the Northern Lights Photography Tour and the Husky Farm Tour... and I was not disappointed.
I chose Beyond Arctic mainly because it is advertised as an arctic photography expeditions and adventures company. As a solo traveler, I need help in capturing once in a lifetime experiences thru photographs. And they delivered. They are a team of young, promising, professional photographers.
My email inquiries and date change request were promptly answered by the two Juho. While in Rovaniemi, I received a message asking if I have other nights available for the northern lights tour as the aurora forecast for that night was not so good. I also appreciate their help in setting my camera and in trying to fix it.
The Northern Lights Photography Tour with our great guide/photographer Markus was terrific. We went to two sites to hunt for the lights. Markus asked the group if ok for us to walk in deep snow, then we drove uphill to a beautiful arctic nature with a cozy teepee where he made fire and we all grilled sausages during break while waiting for the lights. Beyond Arctic provided a knapsack containing a thermos of hot berry juice, a grill stick and a head lamp... aside from the warm overalls, snow boots, wool socks and winter gloves. Markus patiently taught every one in the group how to set the camera and he took photos of all using the company camera afterwards.
The Husky Farm Tour was simply amazing! I had the most wonderful time with the dogs as I sat in a sled for a 5 km ride on a mystical winter forest. I enjoyed best the time spent with the fluffy, adorable huskies who love hugs...
Will surely contact Beyond Arctic if I get the chance to visit Rovaniemi again!
