We loved our stay in Antrain. The deceptively spacious cottage is tucked into this old-fashioned and peaceful Breton town. The holiday home is generously equipped with kitchen-wear, linen, books and board games. The lawned garden has a choice of comfortable seating areas, screened from one another by fruit trees. Breakfasting outside following a stroll to the boulangerie was a real treat, so was sitting later in the day around the big circular table sharing warm, baked Camembert and good-but-cheap wine from Super U.
Miller's Cottage is real old-world France. It stands on a remarkably calm lane in this little provincial spot on the Brittany/Normandy border. We were amazed how quiet the roads were, and took the chance to visit several of the well-known tourist places. There is lots more still to see, and we're dreaming already of our next visit.
