I first was planning to go here alone, but it turned into a family stay as my sister and father joined me. We had two rooms, single person and double, both really big with the double room even having a balcony. The beds were good and the rooms were clean. However, the services for a three star hotel was the bare minimum. There were no paper towels or mugs to place your toothbrush in. Smoking, even on the balcony, was forbidden and there was no alcohol served on the premisis. Breakfast however, was good and the selection wide.

From outside the hotel looks awful and the area creepy with a tattoo parler facing the hotel. However, in the night time the area seemed calm and safe. The location is a bit off from the city and thus not perfect for touristing. Most of the other guests looked like bikers but that might just be the Sweedish look. During the night the hotel was calm and quiet.

Room Tip: There are balconies on the double rooms in the seventh floor, but there is no elevator access, but you have to walk there from the sixth floor.

We stayed at the Hotel Arena for one night. The room was all over clean, nice and modern. Allthough I ordered a so-called small double room it was spacious and had a big, nice TV. The personell were very polite and nice, and there was free snacks and coffee all day. The breakfast was also good for the price. I would recomend the hotel for any low-budget travelers in the area.

Service is always very nice at this hotel. They also offer a very pleasant buffet breakfast and tea and coffee for free during all day! Location is also very good since it only takes 5-10 minutes walking from Gothenburg Central Station. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

Had the pleasure (and surprise) to stay at the Arena Hotel in GTB. This was meant to be a brief pit stop in an Apartment Style complex, they have basically taken a old residential building and turned it into rooms.
Staff was smiling, broadband was excellent (and free) parking facilities was available - and breakfast was a bit on the "less variety side" - but satisfying before my journey on - to visit other clients.
All comes to the end, i am actually sure i do take this hotel on my next event, i am quite ok with the set-up and the sleep was excellent, the surrounding was quiet and calm.
