“Shopping!!!”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

I loved shopping at Haga. Great small shops and cute cafes. I went to Haga twice during my visit in Gothenburg. The street performers are so talented. I had a great time here. Be careful, some walkways are rough, don't twist your ankle.

“One of the best parts of Gothenburg”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

This was one of my favourite parts of the city. We reached it very quickly from where we were staying and spent a good few hours wandering around the roads, going into all of the little shops and looking in at the cafes. We returned here twice during our stay and found it equally as quaint each time. We visited in winter so there were no outdoor tables but we were told that in warmer weather everyone can sit outside.

“Wintertime”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

We walked around the Haga area quite a lot during our visit around Christmas and New Year's Eve. The streets are narrow and old fashioned and the architecture is indifferent, old style and very interesting to look at. There are smaller shops here and there but more and more chains seem to find their way into Haga as well as fairly over priced designer stores which sell the stuff you can find in other places as well, maybe cheaper. The unique things seem to fade out but there are some nice coffee places and i can only recommend to just walk around the area, see others and be seen. The area is rather small but it is nice to have a nice romantic walk around and look into different stores and enjoy a little bit of Sweden.

“Lovely old style area in Gothenburg to visit.”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

Every time we visit Gothenburg we go to Haga and have a fika (coffee and bun in swedish) in one of Hagas many cozy coffee shops. Haga could be described as Gothenburgs Old Town. There are loads of little quirky shops to look in and just a lovely atmosfere. Haga is a must if you are spending some time in Gothenburg, no matter what time of the year it is.

“Charming”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

We went in December when the Christmas market was underway. The stalls were charming and each were unique. Everyone is friendly and helpful and the streets are clean and welcoming with warm lights and polite crowds.
