“Lovely ferry trip”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

Beautiful sunny winter afternoon ferry from saltholmen to branno husvik and back. We didn't get down from the ferry. It was a lovely sight and it stopped at few island for people to get on and get off. The best part is that the islands are car free ones.U can do island hopping, also have a day long picnic on the island as they are ( most of them) equipped with restaurants n cafe. Or just gor for the ferry ride. If you hold a city travel card this ferry charges would be included in the same. Else u wil have to pick up ur ticket at the entrance office. It's a must do experience. For bathroom facility u would have to pay 5 krona. And there is a cafe on the 1st story of the boat where u can get some food and drinks.

“Perfect!”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

This archipelago is simply amazing! It is not that far from the city and if you buy the 3-day public transport card you can take a boat ride to one of the islands (actually two of them if you want to exit) I explored the island of Branno which is so cool because there are no cars or bikes allowed so you either take a bicycle or walk around :) It took me some 60-90 minutes to walk around the small island and enjoy the beautiful scenery and cozy houses. If you get hungry there is one restaurant in the middle of the island and one bar close to dock. All the inhabitants were quite warm and friendly - always greeting me when I would pass near their houses as if I was a local :)

“In cold too!”
Reviewed December 13, 2012 via mobile

We were here in December, with windy minuses, but i was amazed by the islands, and the community. And it was beautiful too as well! Absolutely worth it!

“Nice”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

This is very outstanding at spring-summer-time, perhaps not
in wintertime, you can go by lot of boats out to the small islands
like Vinga and you can have a very nice meal on the boat.

“Nice boattrip from Saltholmen to Styrsö, Brännö etc”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

Take a tram to Saltholmen from where the boats leave for the islands in the nice archipelago.Use same ticket as on the tram (low price). Plan for minimum 2hrs boatrip. Of course nice weather (and summertime) is a plus.
