Exterior/Hotel location:
The hotel is located very close to the city but it is next to an industrial area with ship yards & a power water plant next to it. The area has nothing special, I was firstly disappointed when I arrived. Fortunately it is not very far from the city center you can go there by walking. There is a bakery just down the street also there is a parking space just in front of the Hotel.

Public Areas/Reception Staff:
The reception of the Hotel is very small, also the public areas give the perception of a budget and cheap hotel, especially on the hall. Young & polite but not very professional looking staff.

Breakfast:
The breakfast is American Buffet. Not bad variety (scrambled eggs, sausages, boiled eggs, beacon, variety of breads, cheese, ham, pickles, yoghurt, juice machine & coffee machine, cake and also some cereal variety combined with low-and-full-fat-yoghurt or milk. Biological products (like jam, butter & bread). I did not have a problem with the variety but the staff did not refill the trays so sometimes I had to hurry to be served or something was missing the next day. Another problem I had is that the area is very small and if it crowded you cannot find a place to sit.

Room/Facilities:
The room is very spacious and with plenty of light. Big LCD TV with digital channels. Plenty of room in the closets, free Wi-fi. The beds we comfortable except from the pillows that were very soft and not very supportive (the double bed has two single mattresses joined together). The bathroom was clean and large with a bathtub and ambient light. Complimentary mineral water in room. The main problem with the rooms is that they are not well sound-proofed. I stayed on the 3rd floor (305) and I could hear the footsteps from the wooden the upper floor & hallway. I am not a light sleeper and sometimes I woke from that noise; I assume that someone that sleeps lightly will have a big problem with that. No refrigerator in room.

Cleanliness:
Everyday somebody came into the room to tidy things up. No sheets or towels were changed after 3 days; but I was a solo traveler and had the extra second-person towels. The room was generally clean, towels and covers were clean except from the blue cover that is over the bed (had stains and dirt).

Conclusion:
Indeed this hotel is expensive for what it offers and compared with other hotels in other countries. But if you compare it with local hotels you will see that it is one of the best bargains in Gothenburg as everything is very expensive in Sweden; with most of the cheaper hotels having shared bathrooms. I would recommend this hotel for everyone.

This hotel offers simple, clean rooms with helpful staff. The location means you can walk to city centre in ten minutes, to tram stops in 5 and to areas such as Haga in 15. Although it doesn't look great from the outside, we found our room and breakfast/sitting area to be comfortable and well cared for. The reception staff were polite and helpful and it was nice to have 24 hour coffee, cold drinks etc available. Gotenburg is an interesting city and this is a good base. Only real quibble was the big rise in price for our room on the Thursday and Friday of our stay, making it less good value, so check out the best deals, there must be a better one than ours!

We stayed three nights at this hotel. We were four people exploring Gothenburg. The hotel was ok situated, not in the middel of the center, but it only took a couple of minutes to walk to the center.

The hotel was clean, with nice rooms and good service. The staff was very helpful and nice, and even made sure we had a coffee to go the day we checked out. The breakfast was ok, even though the dining area was quite small.

We will definitely choose the same hotel next time!

The hotel is situated in an ugly industrial area - small hot rooms - no air condition so windows have to be kept open letting traffic noise in - greasy waffles - does not live up to the healthy image - movietv films were out of order - expensive outdoor parking. Paid SEK 1140 pr night - complained to central booking since I stayed there 3 nights on short vacstion with my daughter. They just sorry!! CENTRAL but for this discomfort its not Comfort and expensive!

An ok hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast just ok. The hotel is really small and so is the breakfast room, not enough tables when there are a lot of guests. !0 minute walk to the city center, so the location is good.
