“nice cafe, great kids area (though not permanent), average displays”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

My wife, baby and I visited here in August. I was particularly interested in the permanent display showing product design. It was a pretty good collection, but there was little or no information. I found. There's some temporary exhibitions (the one on Evil Design was ok), but overall there's not that much to see. Happily the cafe is good, and if you're visiting with a baby or child, there's an outstanding playroom and kids library. Watch out for the unisex toilets.

“Beautiful museum and not too big!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

If you like Swedish design and decorative arts you'll love this museum. Great exhibitions and just big enough to spend 1- 2 hrs there without tiring yourself out.

“A Dream of a Museum”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

Someone with an incredible sense of originality designed the spaces in this museum. From the Buddhas decked out in abstract lighting to the design from modern periods, the exhibits were very well presented with an extremely creative presentation. Loved the glass and metal emphasis. My admission to the Fine Arts Museum covered my admission to this museum and many other museums- except the Volvo Museum.

“Great exhibition and good design museum”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

Evil design exhibition was excellent. Permanent exhibition about changing design was very interesting - not so many pieces per period/decade, but gives an overview.

“Evil design exhibition”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

The evil design exhibition was food for thought, but it was quite small. For the cost of 40 SEK one really can't complain though (and this also grants access to other museums)
