Our family of four (children of 8 & 11) enjoyed one day at Liseberg - we loved the park - there are things for everybody - both the scared ones and the brave ones. Park is also well made with lots of benches and several places to eat. Only thing is that it is expensive, but this we are used to, living in Norway.... We bought "Åkpass" and were able to choose amongst all attractions in the park - I belive this is the best if you pland to try different things/attractions. Attractions were also well marked with signs for how long waiting time there was, but often waiting time was less than written. We loved Liseberg and would definately go back sometime!!

It is a 'nice' place to go for a walk around, though it is not cheap if your children want to go on the rides.... (Scandinavia generally isn't 'cheap) Go to their website and check out when they have a concert (such as Sting) on, even though others will get in for about 10 EUR, trust me it will ease the pain for the rest of the costs involved.

Points to keep in mind
- Be first in there (probably the same for all themed parks)
- Take food with you
- If you can, and plan on being there the entire day, buy the day passes
- Quite a few rides for the smaller children
- There aren't really that many rides for teenagers/ adults. If you look online and compare to major european themeparks...
- During winter the park is closed, though they do have a Winter market, whereby they drain the entire nordic regions electricity supply to place millions of small lights around the trees. quite an image...

Liseberg is a god place if you like roller-coaster. There is also something to do for the minor kids.
