We went to Varbergs Kurort and Spa to have a relaxing weekend, but it was everything but relaxing. The room was nice but small. The poolarea was full of kids who were running around and made it impossible to just have a nice time. We wanted to sit there and read for a while but there were so much noice it didn´t work out. The pools and saunas were a big disappointment, the steamsauna didn´t even work. We didn´t book any spa treatments in advance, BIG misstake, there were nothing left for us to book when we got there, very disappointing. The first (and last, we left a day early) night our neighbours came home at 3 am and turned on really loud music and were screaming and laughing, very drunk. I don´t think a spa where other people wants to relax is the right place for a big party. We don´t think the staff was very helpfull or friendly, the food was ok but not worth the price. This hotel is definitely not worth the money.
