“Love it here!”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

We have been visiting Quesada for 7 years & always eat at the Happy Garden. The food is great, we have the meal for 2 which is under 30 euros inc. wine/ dessert/ liqueur.
I can never finish it all!
It's a special place for us & can't wait to go back in July.

“Good value but food not good!!”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

At this restaurant you basically get what you pay for. 11 euros for a set menu including half a bottle of wine which was good value but the food was not great and it was all lukewarm The best part of the meal was the dessert, the wine was good and we did get complimentary liqueurs which was nice.

“Nice Building, shame about the food”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

We were sat in a cramped corner where half the room on one side of the table was taken up by pillars.
The meal for 4 was more like a taster menu. No prawn crackers whilst we waited, and waited, and waited.
Drinks orders came back with one drink missing, then after the 'meal', the coffees took a long time , again with one missing.
No choice of noodles or rice, which I think was poor.
Sizzling plate dish sizzled so much the food burned on it and dried up.
Pancakes for the crispy duck were plentiful, unfortunately the duck and onion was not.
Whilst compared to UK Chinese restaurants this was not expensive, compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area , who offer much more choice, much better service and much better food, it was.

I do not mind paying what might be considered a lot of money for a meal if it is worth it. This definitely was not!

With a gap of 2 years between visiting this restaurant- hoping for an improvement - and there was none.
Will not be giving it a third chance.

“Expensive Eating and Drinking”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

The fixed menu for four persons was expensive and not much food for the price. The prtion were small with just two small chines dumpling each, which were stuck to the steamer container, one kebab each, no rice just a small plate of noodles. Nice to eat but too small portions for value. One Baileys Irish liquor was 4.25€ and a 30cl of water a whopping 1.75€ more expensive than a litre of petrol. Although refreshments were supposed to be include and a half bottle of wine each, all we got was two large (Pints) beers. We will not be returning
