You are going to love this restaurant because there are so many kinds and selections of food with a great combination and fusion food. You are going to love the view and enchanted in the middle of restaurant's ambience.

It is perfect for many kinds of your travel, not only a couple, it is also included family, business, family or even solo diner.

Recommended dessert is, Kaw Neaw Ma Muang (Thai Sticky Rice, topping with coconut milk and mango.)

If you see my history of reviews usually I only mention the places that I really like. The average places do not need to be mentioned. And the bad places, unless very bad I do not bother with.

We had a very bad experience with Beyond the Sea I found the food to be not just tasteless but that the quality of ingredients left much to be desire. One of the dishes we order from the tapas menu was some meat on stick. The chicken, calling it chicken is an insult it was more like old hen, was stringy and tough as a rubber sole. The pork was dark in color it just looked odd, and the prawns still had the black vein on them.

The drinks were poorly mixed, too strong and too much sugar really abrasive taste, what kind of cheapo rum they use is a mystery.

Service...we live in Thailand and are use to laid back service what we found here is just plain disdain and abandon to the clients, there were only three tables when we were there and it took them more than half an hour just to get the drinks to the table. The worst part is that other tables that clearly order after us, they came in later, got their drinks first.

They advertise their mango sticky rice as some kind of wonder, its a wonder people believe that! Any, just any mango sticky rice is better than what they offer here. Another bluff.

This place is a lot of hot air, nice decor and crafty marketing but that´s all there is to it. Don´t be fooled by the good looks, its just frozen food, poor service, and did I mentioned its expensive.

Absolute ripoff.

Sorry guys but all the previous reviews are part of a marketing strategy too?

The view is breath taking from this resort. They have the best location ever & the hotel itself is very well planned. We stopped by from the Samui Zoo to have lunch here, so if you have the Zoo trip planned you should definitely eat here. The food is gorgeous, the Noodle Crab Soup was excellent and the Mango with Sticky Rice & Ice Cream is delicious. Never knew fruit & rice with ice cream can taste so gooood! After a hot and tiring day at the zoo, this meal left us feeling very happy :)

We went for a very nice lunch at Beyond the Sea. The setting is superb, with a contemporary decor and a nice view of the sea. Service was attentive and flawless, and they were very intent on ensuring that we were comfortable and never lacked for anything.

In terms of food, we tried a few tapas, with a main course from the standard menu. The tapas were generously served, tasty and with a nice twist from traditional thai fare. All this without betraying all the subtle flavors of this wonderful cuisine. The main courses were a success as well, again very flavorful, with a contemporary touch.

Although not cheap like beach side restaurants, we found the price very reasonable for the quality offered.

A bit off the beaten path, but worth the trip.

We stayed at the Shasa and enjoyed many meals at Beyond the Sea.

Breakfast rotated items every couple of days, eggs perfectly cooked as ordered and the staff made an effort to remember your juice and coffee preferences and were brought out while you fetched some food.

Afternoon cocktails were great with a few tapas plates while the sun started to set.

The dinner menu had many appealing choices and we slowly grazed thru most of the menu.

There are signposts around Samui advertising the mango sticky rice - devine
