Standing on the Hill above Danube river - Gardoš tower offer to each visitor an unique experience and view to whole western part of Belgrade, as well as confluence of Danube and Sava.
Below Gardoš you may find some really nice taverns with Serbian domestic food and Rakia brew.

Amazing view of Belgrade and surroundings, well worth a nice walk from the quay. Nevertheless, it could be kept better, and some extra info for English-speaking tourists would be the icing on the cake.

It is well worth the bus ride out from Belgrade (10 mins) to walk up the old cobbled streets of the area to the top of the hill and the tower where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and see marvelous views back across the danube to the Belgrade Skyline. There are many cafes along the river bank and at various spots on the way up or down where you can take refreshment to sustain you on your journey. Not recommended for those having difficulty walking as the streets are very steep and it is quite a long way up.
