We visited the Black River Cheese Company and found it to be very uninteresting. 3 baskets of cubed cheese and toothpicks were available for sampling - not an artisan cheese. A wall of coolers with cheese to purchase. Much like a Macs Milk store. There was no one with information or any one to speak to about the cheese making process. A cooler of ice cream was also availablie for an ice cream cone for the children. The only employee was the cashier and that seemed to be her only function. We were disappointed with what we thought would be an informatve and interesing experience and it fell very flat.
