This hotel is very minimalist in nature---the rooms are simple, compact, and straight-forward. Everything they do, though, they do very well. Little things in the rooms like large soap dispensers, USB charging ports, and a large TV make the room good for its size.

The breakfast, which was included, was also good. The food didn't change much day-to-day, but the quality of sandwiches, croissants, juices, and so on was very good. While the breakfast is a "choose 4" option, four things is all you ever need to be more than satisfied.

The key to this hotel being great was the helpfulness of the staff. Anything I needed they jumped on, smiling and happy to help. From getting ice for the room to packing up breakfasts to-go for a very early departure, to lending an umbrella on a rainy day---there were no problems they couldn't solve or didn't already have something ready to take care of it when it happened.

On top of the good staff, the hotel location is very convenient, being a 5-25 walk from most of the important sights, and very close to the Arlanda Express stop where it drops you off from the airport.

The price is also right, when compared to most other hotels in Stockholm, which can get very, very pricey.

Check out Vete-Katten next door for a great cafe to grab a snack or lunch!

Stayed for two nights in early August 2014, very nice clean and well designed hotel. Interesting check in system that didn't require a front desk person, although there were roving hotel staff who would help with queries. Small rooms but they used every gap to make sure there was plenty of space. Odd duvet however only cover 3 quarters of the bed so that made it slightly uncomfortable. Very central and easy location, overall an enjoyable stay in a very attractive environment.

We stayed here during a weekend trip to Stockholm and were super impressed. Everything was clearly thought through, cleverly designed and spotlessly clean. Yes, the rooms are small, but they are extremely comfortable and have everything you need. The real beauty of this hotel is in it's fresh, non-stuffy approach. The bar, the lounge, the "reception" - they were all a pleasure to spend time in. Usually highly dubious of hotel breakfasts we were delighted by the HTL breakfast (no old fashioned bain maries or awkward breakfast staff here!). The bar had a good range of drinks as well as share food and meals. The staff also deserve a mention - everyone was friendly, fun and extremely helpful. A big shout out to Simon for being particularly awesome.

Modern, clean, functional and very friendly staff. We were after one night in Stockholm before flying home the next day and this hotel is perfect for that kind of stay. They use technology well to minimise staff numbers, but the staff on hand were always very friendly and helpful. Having to check in yourself at a touchscreen, or using their online check-in service, is no different to what all airlines are doing and it's refreshing to see a hotel embracing such changes. Breakfast was also just what we needed, and healthy. No need for messy cooked fat-laden breakfasts in this day and age. I thought the USB wall charging sockets by the beds was a great idea.

The only reason I've not judged this as 'excellent' is because one of our two bedrooms had no window at all. It freaked out my 84 year-old mother-in-law so we changed rooms as I didn't really mind.

Room Tip: Insist on a room with a window if you don't like confined spaces.

We've stayed 3 nights, and the service, the food and the overall experience was perfect. The employees were extremely kind and welcoming.
Very well situated and smartly designed. If we return to Stockholm will stay there again for sure.
The only thing that keeps us from rating it excellent is the lack of space in the minimalist rooms to store your clothes, as there is no closet or shelves, forcing you to keep it in the suitcase, which quite inconvenient, specially if you're staying a few nights.

This hotel is nearly perfect in every way. The location is good and close to almost everything in Stockholm. The design and architecture of this hotel is simply stunning. The public spaces are created beautifully and very smart - public spaces that invites people to sit, relax and enjoy the urban feeling the hotel has.

The rooms are on the smaller side however they are created very smart making your stay really enjoyable. The toiletries are decent, while the towels are really great.

The next morning you can option for a really lovely breakfast. Do not expect a large breakfast buffet with various items - but HTL creates an (as I would say) even better breakfast. Its simple, but very freshly made. Juices, smoothies, sandwiches, yoghurt with granola, croissants etc.
Dear HTL, do not ever change this breakfast.

This hotel is really recommendable. It talks your Instagram-heart: From the beautiful lobby to the pretty and colorful breakfast. The staff is so laid-back and friendly, but still very professional.
The prices are amazingly low, while the quality is extremely high in comparison. I can not wait for HTL to open up a hotel in my capital, Copenhagen. It would make it so easier for me to enjoy this as often as possible.

Rooms and bathrooms are small, but clean, good use of space, aesthetically pleasing. Convenient wall plugs in the nightstands. Good location also-close to a few different train stations, walking distance to most places. Good lounge space and breakfast was decent. Only down side to the breakfast is that it is limited to 4 items. Staff was very helpful with recommendations and directions, accommodations-especially Simon. Would definitely stay here again.
