“Excellent for kids, good for adults”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2013

Compacted in a small installation, this water museum offers a very brief, albeit interesting, introduction to the water’s world, from the rain forest to the sea. It includes some species and their natural habitats, such as sharks, clown fish, frogs and stingrays. The place is really exciting for kids, and it makes the place not a good choice for people who're seeking a quiet environment. Its cafe, however, is a pacifying corner to rest and drink a cup of coffee while enjoying a glorious view over the city.

“Nice little museum”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2013

First of all the muesum isn't that big and you go through it pretty quicly if you want to.

That said I really, really like it. There are a lot of exotic fishes (and some native Swedish fish as well) and you get to be really close to them. They have an whole section that is made up to look like a rainforest where they make a fake rainstorm as well.

If you like to look at strange fish this is the place to visit. :)

“Wonderful Surprise.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

We have been to a number of aquaria around the world. This is, by far, the best. Genuinely informative and very well designed. Allow 2 hours to get the most out of the trip. Small children might get restless.

“Use Your Stockholm Card”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

We did plan to go to the Water Museum and overall this was a very informative visit. The aquarium is very small and does not take too long to walk around it. Exhibits are very informative and well-maintained and all the fish looked healthy. Great for smaller children, but our teenage daughter was not overly impressed. Good to visit if you want to fill a little but of time, but there are other things to do and see in Stockholm. Great views back out over the city though.
