I booked a small room which the hotel clearly stated was 108 square feet. The room was small but more than adequate. The room had a single twin bed which I found to be noticeable wider than single twin beds of other hotels. The room was very quiet overlooking the interior of the building. The bathrooms were small with a walk-in shower and heated floors. There was an old world charm with distressed wood plank flooring in the room, stone tiles in the bathroom and high ceilings. Yet modern Euro bath fixtures, a flat screen tv and security features on the doors and windows updated the room.

The common areas were similarly comfortable. A large breakfast buffet area enclosed in a glass sun room, a common area with sofas and computer monitors and a bar with Thursday night live jazz all added to the appeal of this hotel.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood - yet about a five minute walk to the subway, the central library, the old observatory, the main pedestrian shopping street, and the main boulevard through the heart of the city central. A number of ethnic restaurants are within minutes of the hotel. A Coop grocery store is just a block away.

It's very nice hotel with friendly staff. It's located almost in the center of Stockholm.
Beautiful design, clean room, fine breakfast, free and very fine coffee and tea in the hall.
Minuses: small bathroom, bar works only from 17:00 - no lunch available before this time

To start with the good things: good location, easy access with public transport, good reception service, comfortable beds, clean towels and bedlinen. I liked the hotel interior design, it's quite unusual.
Now the drawbacks - we had double standard rooms 2006 and 2007 on the ground floor. The first impression was "people, where's the window, where's the sky??". The window is above the door thus you see almost nothing and feel a bit imprisoned. But we decided not to fuss about it and did not demand to change the rooms. Next, it's a room for 2 people but the wardrobe is so small you can hang only a coat or 3 shirts in it. No hangers for outerwear. The room cleaning - the beds were made but the floor was not cleaned every day.
Breakfast was OK though could be better. And I must say not all plates were clean.
I guess it's a bit of a lottery when coming to this hotel. It can be excellent experience if you get a spacious room with a window :) Good luck.

Room Tip: If possible, do not take rooms with numbers 20..., they are located in a half-basement, the room window is above the door so you'll have no view at all...

We only had a few days in Stockholm first staying with friends and then at this hotel.

Although Check in was at 3pm, we arrived early (1pm) and asked if we could drop off our bags so we could have a look around. The Lovely girl at the desk checked and said our room was in fact ready so we could go straight to our room.

The Room was lovely, it was on the top floor so we had a balcony with a table and chairs that we could sit out on. I had read on here that most rooms do not have much storage, this was not the case on our room - we had a chest of draws AND a wardrobe as well as having bedside tables on each side. The bed was the most comfortable bed ever! and was a beautiful old wooden four-poster bed. for us the room was perfect.

The bathroom was very clean and nice, yes the bathtub was a bit small but you cant expect a full sized tub in a hotel, well for us it wasnt a problem anyway the only thing that was wrong with the bathroom ( and when I say wrong it REALLY wasnt a big problem at all) was that for ladies who have lots of toiletries there was not much space to put them. Honestly though that should be the last thing to worry about. As long as the place is clean thats all that matters really.

The breakfast room was very nice, the food was always restocked and so was the coffee, the girls there were lovely too. Lots of choice and fresh foods. Very Very enjoyable. in fact the worst thing about the breakfast room is the other guests who just see to want to stare at you, but thats not the hotels fault at all. I liked to smile and nod and say good morning and they seemed to turn away haha.

There was also free tea and coffee in the room to the side of reception which was nicely decorated, im sorry to say that being British, we did bring our own tea but it was not needed as they have a lot of choice at the hotel. This was open all night we discovered after a night out and coming back NEEDING a sobering coffee!

All in all the hotel was pretty, clean and the staff very nice so this trip was great fr us and would recommend this hotel.. we will definitely be back in the very near future!

I stayed for a week here in the larger single. It had plenty of room and nice light. The room was cleaned well, although I would have liked to have had the toiletries refilled/replaced since I did stay an entire week (and ran out). The hotel is very close to the metro and within walking distance of downtown. The wireless did not work for my computer, although they did provide a cable so that I could connect. Overall, nice stay.
