My wife and I took a cruise leaving from Stockholm and stayed at Hotel Kungstradgarden two nights before and after the cruise. The location was so perfect for us. It was located in walking distance to many tourist attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast every morning had such a variety of things to eat and everything was delicious! We had to check out at 2:45 a.m. for our flight, and they prepared a breakfast bag for us to enjoy on the way to the airport. I loved the heated towel rack in the bathroom! The rooms were comfortable and clean. I would have given this hotel a 5 star rating had our room been a little bigger. After we brought in our luggage, there was no room to move around in the room. They have bigger rooms for a larger price. Had we realized just how small it was, we would have probably booked a larger room. With all this said, I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others looking for a good hotel in Stockholm.

Hotel Kungstradgarden is my favorite hotel in Europe. It's filled with helpful and kind staff who treat their guests as family. As stated elsewhere in the reviews, my room was comfortable, clean and well-maintained. And, at their restaurant we had breakfast (buffet) and dinner (french) that were delicious and impeccably served. But I return to compliment the front desk staff who assisted us with a problem involving lost luggage and passport. Each member of the staff was competent, respectful, compassionate and helpful in every way. I'm now thinking of any excuse to return to Stockholm just to stay in my new home away from home.

This hotel was ideally located near Gamla Stan and the train station. You could walk to most major sights. It has a beautiful restaurant. The room was small. I had an interior room which was a little dark. The breakfast was amazing and delicious.
