“Good for kids meh for adults”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2013

There are butterflies and fish and frogs etc here. A good place to bring kids but not so interesting for adults I think.

“Warm and beautiful for those rainy dark days (though it's great other days too!)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2013

Went there with our 1,5 year old. One butterfly circled around her a couple of times. She didn't know if she should be scared or thought it was fun. But it sure was fascinating! There is a lunch cafe indoor and you can even sit outside in the garden. It's beautifully located in Hagaparken (big park).
There are also fish, frogs, birds (some walking around freely). Butterflies are beautiful. I can recommend it for all ages!

“Stuffy overpriced small boring unimpressive”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

Saw about 5 small butterflies. Most definitely a tourist trap. Waste of time and money. The park in which the butterfly is located is beautiful.

“Nice and warm on a cold winter day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2013

A lovely little slice of the exotic, especially coming in out of a cold damp winter day. The landscaping is nicely done with tropical plants and water features and koi fish and the only drawback is that it's quite small. There is a nice coffee shop and small store

“Nice place, but a bit pricey”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

Nice place to visit if you're visiting Hagaparken or places nearby. If you don't want to pay entrance to "Fjärilshuset", you can still go in and eat at the café, which is nice.
Fjärilshuset itself is not as good as it was before (I think). Not too many butterflies. Fun to watch the big fishes. Almost all info is in swedish. (don't know if they have booklets in other languages).
It's nice to take a break from cold november Stockholm, and walk around in rainforest climate for a while. Young kids gets bored after 30 minutes, so a bit expensive for the time you spend. (110:- per adult. Cheaper for children and children under 4 free entrance)
