Delicious food with cosy atmosphere. Price per dish is cheaper as it is with smaller portion. So, might be you need to order more. But say for the fried rice, the portion is already good for most Asian people.

We had to spend one day in Stockholm which happened to be my husband birthday. I looked for a restaurant to celebrate (but not birthday cake style) and decided to book at Waipo. We haven’t been disappointed. From the quality of the food to the decor, everything is exquisite. The lunch menu choice is not big but suffisent.
It was a very luck choice but the Tripadvisor’s reviews helped!

I’m really disappointed.... It was my most favorite asian restaurant! The food names are the same as before but the great taste is gone :-( will NOT return any more...

Visited Waipo the other night with my wife, and we both had the 8 course tasting menu. The courses arrive one or two at a time, which is nice since it gives you time to focus on the course currently at the table, and the food you eat is warm. Everything was nicely plated, and presented by the friendly waiter. Of course everyone has different preferences, I found some of the courses a little bland, but all were good and a few great! Me and the wife also found different favourite courses. Good restaurant with a nice, modern interpretation of Chinese food.

Great service, lovely restaurant interior. Tables very close together. Vegan 5 tasting menu. First two dishes were very tasty; haricot vertes and dumplings. The next three dishes came too quickly. The tofu was not very exciting. The mushrooms did not have a flavour other than chili, which was a pity. We enjoyed the wine pairing menu, great idea. The ganache dessert was a tiny portion. The pineapple dessert was good.
All in all, good but could be much better.
