We hadn't planned to go to the amusement park at first (my sister and I), thinking it would be some kiddish place that wasn't very exciting. We were dead wrong. There were a few rides for the younger kids, but everything else is for teens! Teens who want adrenaline rush from the ride. If you're aged 7-64, you have to pay an admission fee of SEK 100, while everyone falling outside that age group can enter the park for free. For tourists who want to ride everything, buy the Ride Pass (SEK 310) - free rides all day. So, SEK 410 per person. I didn't go for the Ride Pass Plus (SEK 340), which basically just includes access to the Haunted House. I don't like Haunted Houses.
Top two adrenaline rides are Jetline and Insane. You can't miss those two. Fast, furious, satisfaction. And then, for a bird's eye view of Stockholm, go on Eclipse. But make sure you're dressed warmly enough - it was like ice age up there. Granted, the day we went there it was raining at 13.5 degrees. So imagine so high up in the sky - we came down frozen. Heh.
Grona Lunds provide many, many roller coasters - so take your pick. I've told you mine. The great thing about this park is that the turnover rate is really high - even with a lot of people. Queues are usually 10 minutes or less. The system they have running over there allows people to keep getting on and off the rides - whilst others are enjoying the ride of their lives. I love how fast they are in moving queues. If you've been to Disneyland or Universal Studios and have been stuck in lines for up to 2 hours, you'll get what I mean.
Even the kiddy rides here are rather fast and exciting. Not as adrenaline-pumping, but quite fun nevertheless.
Food there is expensive and normal: a cheeseburger with coke and fries was SEK 69. Bring food if you can. Or just eat before going (or eat after) - the park doesn't take that long to finish. We went in at 1pm and came out at 6.30pm. And that's with lunch in between and taking other rides multiple times.
Toilets (female, I don't know about the male's) are surprisingly clean - what with all the kids roaming about.
One more thing, don't miss the Lustiga Huset (Fun House) - the most unique experience I've ever had in an amusement park!
