The layout of the room is unusual as its goal is to maximize space with 2 single beds in one straight line. Our room had a window that face the street so if the blinds are not closed, people walking by on the street can see straight into the room. It gets a little noisy at night as well especially when there are kids walking by coming home from a bar and the car sounds coming from the streets. No airconditioning, we opened the windows to get fresh air. Breakfast was served in our room daily and everyday it was the same so it gets boring after 3 days (bread, ham, cheese, butter, jam, coffee/tea and orange juice). It is a very long walk to the train station, it took us about 45 min with our luggges so on our way back we took the bus 53 (norra bantorget stop) to the train station. From nora bantorget, its about 3 blocks uphill to the hotel. However, if you consider the price we paid for our stay, it was definitely good value which is why we consider the place such a good find. We were on a budget trip and this place fits our budget. Bed (a bit bouncy) and blanket were comfortable, bathroom was big with hot water, towels and shower gel provided. Wifi was free; coffee and tea were available at the lobby. Reception closes at about 8pm and a passcode is provided so that you can enter the front door. There is also a 7-11 at the end of the street (just continue uphill). Generally, it takes about 20-30 min walk to reach Gamla Stan or alternatively you can take bus 53, there's a stop near Gamla Stan and Bus 65 stops at T Centralen (Train Station)

The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the Central Station (where train or airport coach Flygbussarna/Swebus stop). We arrived in Hotel Bema around 2.30pm and the check in process was smooth. Our double bedroom was very spacious (we got room no 10 and got 2 single beds co-joined together). The room is facing the street but still high enough from the pedestrian to see us. Room is clean, enough towels provided, the internet connection is available in the room and the owner was kind enough to let me borrow the iron for free. The convenience stores are available around (about 2-3 minutes walking uphill). Breakfast is served in the room and there is coffee machine in front the counter too.

The hotel is small and the room was also. But the staff are great and helpful, and breakfast is served in the rooms (for a lot of people this is too good to be true). The room is clean and once i left it in a total disaster because i had to leave quickly, and my cloth were still on the bed, but they took the extra effort to fix the bed anyways and clean the room.
Note, that a very large bag like mine would be a little in the way in the room, but this is logical for a small room.
Very central location and small walk from T-Centralen (Central station) where the bus from the airport arrives.
Overall i would go back there again, and probably will soon.

Tourist info office near train station found this for us. A bit of a hike from typical tourist points, but a great value. Breakfast included, and they deliver it to your room! Wifi worked well. Room quiet, comfortable, but small; ours faced street and sometimes got traffic noise. Staff helpful and pleasant. Many dining options nearby.

Our bright, pleasantly decorated and furnished room overlooked the park. The hotel is convenient to shopping (an ICA supermarket is 5 minutes away for more budget conscious travellers) and coffee shops and restaurants with sidewalk seating are plentiful in the area. Breakfast served in the room was more than adequate--a variety of rolls with butter, jam, ham, cheese, and coffee and tea. This hotel is a real value in an expensive city. The 65 bus, which stops across the street, gets you effortlessly to lots of tourist destinations and back. 10-15 minute walk to Central Station or Arlanda Express to the airport.

Room is small, but perfect for 2 people. TV, free WiFi, bathroom and breakfast in the room. This is the best you could find for this money.

Hotel Bema is not cheap, but is cheaper than most other hotels. The staff is ok, but not too smiling. The room I've got was very small. The best thing to say about this 2-star hotel is the location nearby Tegnerlunden. It is a short walk to both Drottninggatan and Sveavägen.
