After a morning of wonderful sightseeing in Stockholm, we entered a beautiful square where the Nobel Museum is located. We decided to get something to drink before continuing our tour. Directly in front of the museum is an enticing restaurant with an outdoor terrace. We were 6 people and we ordered 2 beers, 4 aquavits, and 2 individual orders of a very small variety of Swedish appetizers, a suggestion of our Mexican waiter. (We are all Mexican). The bill came to 1,417 Swedish krona. We were dumbfounded! We paid with a credit card as we wern´t even carrying that much cash, and the bill was 2,800 Mexican pesos, roughly 228 US dollars. This is definitely a tourist trap and we were so disappointed in our compatriot that he didn´t warn us, on the contrary, he suggested what we should order. Please stay away from this place.
