“Good, central and nice bar, but something to watch out for”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2012

Have stayed here a lot and like the hotel. But make sure you get a room on the 6th floor, the other floors are a bit old and worn out. During the summer the rooms get really hot, there are no air condition but you should find a fan in the closet.

The hotel is nicely located down town and not fare from the central station. Its clean and ok, and its staff is truly nice and helpful. I have only used the hotel for business travels, and will continue to do so. But I do not think this hotel would be my first choice for a romantic weekend. But if you are willing to pay a little more, you could go for a room on the 7th floor in a executive room.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 6th floor. And remember to ask for a fan in the summer.

Hotel very conveniently situated right by the Metro, so taking the Arlanda Express from the airport meant we were at the hotel within the hour. Very efficient welcome but it appears that if you want a bath as well as a shower over it, then rooms are in short supply. Our room (525) was a good size and very comfortable but there were only 2 small shelves for clothes and it overlooked a street that was noisy, especially through much of Friday night.
The restaurant cannot be booked ahead of time for dinner so you take a chance. It was expensive for the set menu but that is in comparison with UK prices. Strangely you are not allowed to take a glass of wine to your bedroom "a condition of our liquor licence". Breakfast is excellent BUT there is a note in the lift warning you that it may be crowded out at 830am. Well it was on Saturday morning with folk eating whilst standing at the bar! By Monday the crowds had gone. Would we return? yes we would!

Room Tip: The new 'superior' rooms (such as 688) are smart but smaller and with no bath.

On the plus side this hotel is in a great location, close to some lovely restaurants, the central station and the city centre. The bar is fabulously stocked with some interesting and exotic beers, and the breakfast buffet is pretty good, with a selection that caters to a wide taste.

On the downside the rooms are small and cramped. (At least the three I saw on floor 6 were.) Hardly room to turn around in some of them. For some reason I slept poorly; I think there were noises waking me. And generally the place is in need of some smartening up. Be warned, the pool takes two strokes to cross. It is TINY!!

I spent couple days at this hotel on September 8-12, 2012 for conference. It was very good location and very close to conference center, shopping center, good breakfast, clean room. Recommend for business trip.

Opposite Stockholm's district court and close to a number of public authorities, so a perfect location if you are working at one of these places. The building is uninspiring and the long corridors are depressing. Internet is included in the room rate and OK. Breakfast OK but just that.

The room is compact without minibar. The wood floor is good but everything else is shabby. No knob on the toilet flush and disintegrated showerhead. Water pressure is poor. It is -1°C outside and there is no heating in room.

The standard is below average and the rooms are screaming for an upgrade and some extra comfort. I got a very small room with hardly basic furniture, scratching marks from suitcases on the grey walls, cover on all wall corners (like it was an industry production site), no water preasure in the shower, a shaking baththub and a room stripped for any sign of comfort and good working conditions. You sleep and get as fast out of here as possible! Not recommendable!

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade - it can only be better than the smal room I got.....

Room 380. Nice room. Nice and basic breakfast. The first day during my shower the bathtube was blocked and a mass of hair came up from the hose!!! I told the receptionist and they fixed it.
So 2 stars for the cleaning!
