“Under the bridges”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

Only had a short time in Stockholm so chose the "under the Bridges" tour. 2 hour round the islands of Stockholm, including two locks. We wasted quite a lot of time waiting at the locks and the cafe/ bar was closed at the lock as the girl running the bar had to operate the lock!
There was a pre recorded commentary in several languages but unfortunately this was often out so sync with the boat and we were either in front of or behind the boat. This was rather irritating. A boat trip is a good way to see a city if you're pushed for time but I would not recommend this particular one.

“A little Veneza”

When you walk along the streets, you can see the boats and the people sailing in the canals. They have beautifil bridges connecting the isles. It gives a special charm to the city!

“Water everywhere”

Taking a boat trip in Stockholm gives you the opportunity to see much of the city without moving and without being stuck in traffic. It gives you a different perspective and you can relax whilst behaving like a true tourist. Perfect combination. Price is acceptable in my opinion.

“We took a guided boat tour around the Djurgarden Kanals”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

Beautiful place to visit with a guided boat tour. Recommended for anyone, of any age. The trip is comfortable. There are almost no waves so you don't feel seasick or anything. The view is astonishing and there are loads of photo opportunities. Lovely.

“A pleasant couple of hours”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

There are a number of canal tour companies and they have different routes around the canals of the city. We chose the "Under the Bridges" tour run by Stockholm Sightseeing. It was a very good and informative tour which covered all of the main areas and sights around the waterfront of the city as well as covering areas of the suburbs that are on the canals. This entails going through the locks. The commentary was in eleven languages using earphones, and was professionally done. The tour took about 2 hours and cost 220SEK. Well recommended.
