We stayed here for two nights on a weekend break and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms, all though a little small, are well decorated and very clean. The bathroom is stylish although again on the small size. The beds are soft and we found them very comfortable. We enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar and was very well looked after by the employees. The complimentary breakfast was perfect and there was plenty of choice. The area is a fair walk from the city centre and old town but it is very close to the underground train station and its a short ride from there. In fact I loved this area of Stockholm with a good choice of restaurants and bars locally and would definitely stay here again.

We spent 4 nights at the Elite Arcadia Hotel. As other reviews have mentioned, the hotel is situated quite far out of central Stockholm but there is a metro station (Tekniska Hogskolan) literally a few minutes walk from the front door. This metro station is only three stops from Stockholm's central station (T-Centralen) where trains, the Arlanda Express (Airport Train) etc. go from. Our double room wasn't huge and only had a view of the next street, but was modern and clean. The bathroom is more of a wet-room with a shower, toilet and sink but again this was modern and always clean with branded little toiletries.
There is a mini-bar in the room but the prices (even by Stockholm's standards!!) were expensive so we stayed away from this! There are loads of newsagents and 7-elevens everywhere to get a drink or snack.
The breakfast was lovely. There is a huge variety available - selection of breads, jams, cheeses, salad, cold meats, cereals, yogurts, pastries and biscuits. There is also some cooked options - sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs.
There is a great old fashioned lift that goes up to the hotel rooms which is really handy when you're traveling with large bags!
The only slight niggle I had with the hotel was that the receptionist staff were a bit cold and stand-offish. But this didn't cause any issues.
A great hotel which was reasonably priced. We didn't really explore much of the neighbourhood and tended to head into the city centre but it seemed very quiet. We never had any noise issues in the evenings. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

but a solid 3-star-hotel. Friendly staff at the reception: regarding problems or complaints they reacted at once and did their best to find a solution.
Early check-in and late check-out were no problem at all and free of charge.
Breakfast is really average. Coffee out of plastic coffee pots. No cakes or pastries. Bread, croissants and toast (same bunch of toast on a tray the whole week) were not always refilled.
Cleanliness rather poor- there was a lot of dust on the desk and on the hair-dryer as it had not been cleaned for a month. Also they didn't vaccuum-clean the floor during our stay (6 nights). Fresh towels every day. Entrance and elevator look a bit shabby.
Free Wi-Fi in the hall and on the room. There is also a computer for free use in the lobby.
Hotel is close to a busy main street, many rooms look down to this street- so ask for a quiet room!

A Combination of a romantic trip and getting to know Stockholm was the objective and this hotel was chosen because of how easy it was to get to T-Centralen the central Metro station.

The hotel reception was okay the receptionists very pleasant and helpful. The check-in was easy and two key cards given without asking. The lift to the rooms was a little flakey and old but it worked. The room itself was really quite okay. The bathroom was nice albeit tiny and water came out of the shower area into the rest of the bathroom after about 5 minutes. But that was no problem really. Toiletries were good and the soap excellent! The room was big enough but certainly not too big and furnished quite spartenly. The bed was far too soft and sleeping was not that easy:-( and the mini bar was overpriced. Otherwise the room was clean and functionable. The breakfast was adequate although the coffee was not that good - only filtered and no espresso etc. Trying dinner there one night was a combination of zero ambience with decent food not too highly priced.

Overall the hotel was quite okay and clean with a location within 150M of the Metro and served its purpose well.

Room Tip: All the rooms seem to be the same size...

The hotel is located quite far from the city centre, but there is an underground station nearby. Our room was modern, peaceful and clean but a bit small. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Service could have been friendlier. A smile or two never hurts!

The location was convenient with several restaurants within easy walking distance and a sub-way line which you cpould take anywhere in the city very easily. The weekly ticket for the sub-way was very easy to buy (at a store in the rail station) and allowed unlimited travel anywhere in the city on buses and rail. The Hotel provided a great breakfast which carried me through the day on more than one occasion making this hotel stay even more economical in a city where it is quite expensive to buy anything. The hotel was comfortable although i didn't work out the cooling system - I could only get it to heat the room - but the windows opened so fresh air was always available with little traffic noise.

The hotel is just outside the city center about 25min walk, but there is a metro station nearby. There is a big parking lot near the hotel but its not for free. The room is ok and clean but the bathroom is very small. And we had the bad luck that the toilet was making a very enoying noice when we used it at night ,the sound didn't go away.
