We were pleased to find this hotel as we were doing a little project in Stockholm and it was a really good location from where we needed to be. The hotel was nice but be warned that although it looks like a sort of boutique hotel on the website, once you get in your room its quite a different story. The lobby and communal areas are as expected but out room on the 5th floor was very basic and dated and reminded me of grotty motels I have stayed in with sort of 1980's decor. It was perfectly comfortable and clean but was in dire need of a facelift and lick of paint. I did complain to reception but they only had a twin room that was facing the street left so we decided to stick with the room we had. The twin room they showed us was in much better condition than ours so it is obvious they are in the process of updating but have not completed all the rooms. My advice would be to check if you will be staying in one of the updated rooms when you book. I will be writing to Scandic as I feel that the hotel's website is not really telling the whole truth..More
