“Noisy, old fashion hotel”
Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

Rooms are a bit old and plain. Elevator was noisy and woke us up several times. Old small tv that was ver blur. Beds extremely hard. Restaurant was crowded in evening and staff very stressed. Food was very good but we didn't feel to stay longer than necessary because of the khaos. Breakfast was even worse. Lots of empty tables but all of them full of used plates and garbish. Queues all the times due to waitinig for refill of half of the choices of the buffet. Very stressful environment.

Free parking and free internet that was a plus.

Hello!

Thank you soo much for taking your time to write a comment here on Tripadvisor.

It's with great pleasure i answer this comment since what you where not satisfied about was the old rooms, noisy elevator, old TV, hard beds and a full restaurant.

Since March when you where here we have renovated 200 of our rooms and ofcourse changed to moore comfortable beds, flat schreen TV and a whole new look. We are also renovating the lifts now and are about to renovate our pool and sauna in januari.

The crowded restaurant should also not be a problem anymoore since we've opend our lobbybar where we sell drinks and food, it's very popular and appreciated by our guests.

I hope we will have the oppurtunity to show you our new hotel soon!

Yours sincerely/

I've been staying a couple of times at this hotel, having attended courses.
The lunch restaurant has been great exceeding my expectations! Great staff and the chef is excellent.
The snack area when attending a seminar or a course is also above the norm.
You get a lot of different choices and there is no need to go hungry - not even for 15 min!!
The rooms are spacious but a bit old. The hotel is renovating all rooms and I am looking forward to see the transformation.
The evening meals are also nice, with enough to offer to satisfy everyone.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the carpark and on lower floors are more quiet - and they have a bath tub!!

Typical 2-star hotel for coach trip tourists. I stayed here on business for a week. It was convinent because it was a walking distance to work.

Small single bed, old small television but the main problems were the noise from the road, the lack of air conditioning means you have to leave the windows open(more noise) and the food was horrible(although it was included). I often walked to the mc donalds down the road and heron city mall nearby to eat.

Apart from these, there is nothing exciting about the hotel. I would probably stay in a hotel inside shockholm time.

NB: the elevators might be a tourist attaction.

Room Tip: No tips. Buy some ear plugs

Hello!

Thank you so much for taking your time to write a comment here on Tripadvisor!

You wrote in your comment that there was a small single bed, old TV, lack of aircondition and bad food.

It's with great pleasure I now write that none of these things are now a problem. We've recently renovated 200 of our rooms and in the project we also replaced the old ventilation with new fresh machinery witch is actually being put into use as I write. We also have a new head chef here who cooks lovely meals for our guests.

I hope you will give us one moore chance now that we have a whole different hotel.

Yours sincerely/

We stayed at the 1st floor but it was on ground level. The furniture quality is low compared to the cost. There is no mini bar fridge. The location is good with no noise but bus stops are a 5 minute walk.

The hotel is outside Stockholm city and hard to reach without a car ( a problem with website- it says the hotel is near Stockholm centre). Otherwise our room was clean, nice and- hotel has with good breakfast. Nice reception. Good things are a supermarket nearby and IKEA.

This hotel has nothing wrong except it is in some distant isolate location. It is very inconvenient for a tourist visitor. You have to have your own car. But for a visitor from another country, who will want to rent a car in Sweden. There is IKEA and MacDonald nearby, but walking to there is inconvenient and dangerous because traffic is terrible there.

Room Tip: If you are a visitor, you rather want to pay for a higher price to stay in a hotel near city center...

The hotel is located outside Stockholm. It can be a good choice if you don't want to drive your car into the city. Free parking. Otherwise you can take a 10 minutes walk to the underground station Skärholmen. Then, the underground will take you to the city in 25 minutes. The hotel is just beside IKEA and in Skärholmen you will find a big shopping center. Many lorry drivers park their lorries at the street and start them ealy in the morning. Be prepared to be disturbed. The rooms are ordinary. In the summertime the rooms can be awful hot since there is no aircondition or other ventilation at all. Staff at reception are welcoming. Breakfast is OK but one morning there was no coffee mugs or knives. Some dishes with sandwich spread was empty and there was no buns.
