“My first introduction to Mexican food”
Reviewed June 23, 2014

This was the first place I tried Mexican food and now I'm in trouble as I will probably have to go to Mexico to get something like this. Really nice place, always busy as the food is great and the price is fair. Mexican beer was also really good and you get salsa for free! Highly recommend! It's a self-service.

“Authentic Mexican Tacos in Central Stockholm”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

I visited La Neta as some friends recommended it. The menu is short and simple, and resembles what you would find in a typical taqueria (taco joint) in Mexico City. I have to say that they tacos were probably some of the best I have eaten outside Mexico/North America.

Do not expect great ambiance or service. Just go for their tacos, enjoy them, and go somewhere else to have dessert, coffee and/or a drink.

“Authentic tacos - unexpected in Stockholm”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

These guys serve tacos the way they are served in Mexico on a street cart. Could not be better. Very friendly service, affordable for Swedish standards. Great selection of salsas. Only missing the aguas frescas!

“Mexican tacos as in the neighbourhood”
Reviewed March 8, 2014 via mobile

If you ever go to Stockholm, try this piece of Mexico in the heart of Stockholm. Original tacos as those served at any traditional block in Mexico City, you won't ever regret this experience. Pastor, suadero and bistec, with a rubber chicken hanging in the kitchen, the tables only lack the "Carta Blanca" logo and the music always playing traditional salsa, banda and norteño songs, from Juan Gabriel to Vicente Fernández. Feel free to order in spanish, even a "corn pie" (pastel de elote) or the traditional flan. This place is definitely the kitch Mexican Corner in Sweden.

“Food okay in its simplicity- ambience non existent with scanty decoration.”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

We went to the restaurant in Södermalm (Östgötagatan 12B) and had a late lunch. The place was nearly empty then but I have heard it gets busy in the evening. Try the tacos and make sure you'll pimp them up with some of the sauces and fresh coriander from the special sauce table. The restaurant feels a bit like a hospital cafeteria as the decoration is pretty scanty. You have to pick up your diry dishes yourself. This is not a place for a romantic date: The ambience and the dripping tacos does not inspire romance. But if you're hungry, want to eat quickly and enjoy a mexican beer with friends: Go.
