Very interesting ship museum. The old ship that sank on its maiden voyage is well-preserved. The tour is available in multiple languages and gives a great look back into the past.

Really enjoyed this museum. A must see for Stockholm. make sure you time your trip so you have a tour. It is only 25 minutes, but is offered in a few languages and worth it. The museum is not very big, a few exibits and a movie. if you do everything and take your time, i would say 2 hours is plenty.
Very interesting place!!

If you only have time or the budget for one museum in Stockholm, the Vasa Museum is brilliant! Beautiful scenery walking up to Djugarden along the water. And trust me, I am no ship/nautical enthusiast, but the museum is so well presented! Very impressed!! And the rest of the island is beautiful as well - lots of walking paths, stunning with the autumn leaves and crisp sunshine.

This museum is definitely worth a visit! Me and my dad visited whilst on the Red Tourist Sightseeing Bus, this should be one of your must visits whilst in Stockholm!

A museum built around an actual naval vessel built in 1620's and fully restored. The interest is in the ship itself, the story of how it was raised and restored, and the insite it gives into the life of sailors 400 years ago. You do not get to board the ship and walk on the decks but view the vessel from 5 or 6 different levels of walkways around the total perimeter. (mobility is not an issue as museum has elevators and wide viewing areas.)
