“Top park of Stockholm”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2013

This in a way is the Central Park of Stockholm as it is the largest park close to the city. At the same time it's a bit off side as you either take a ferry to it or a roundabout trip with a tram. Anyway it's large and partly wooded. It contains a number of major attractions in its western part (Skansen, Vasa ship, Amusement park Gröna Lund and others) and some famous galleries (Thielska and Waldemarsudde). It's an excellent place for strolling along the water. You can go for a couple of miles and take a but back when you're tired. Views at Stockholm harbour is great at the southern side.

“Nature-lovers welcomed!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

Amazing, unbelievable place to be, to see, to walk, to feed animals in the zoo, to feel free, to see the installations of old-style life, even try "old-school" food.

That's really great, but you should count that it takes a lot of time to enjoy it (from more than 3 hours till...)

“Nature”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2013

It is amazing to see how Stockholm mix a groovy city with the calmness of the nature, and Djugarden is an example of it. It is a park with some museums in it, so you can go to each of it separately, or you can just stroll around with a bike and watch the view of the city and the nature. It is a place to go with no rush.

We got the boat ride over from Gamla Stan and the views were amazing.

“A relaxing day out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2013 via mobile

Not knowing what to expect in the Djurgarden I was presently surprised with the numerous options available to you in a Parkland walk. My one suggestion is that if you are planning on going to any of the main attractions - ie the aquarium - make sure that you get the early if you are wanting to avoid masses. Available picnic areas, tea gardens, luncheons are available, and considering the summer weather, not the worst idea if you a romantic!
