While staying at the hotel and being rather tired after a full day of walking around, we chose to eat in the hotel twice. The restaurant/breakfast section of teh hotel Skeppsholmen is called " Lange Raden Restaurant".
There is a very limited à la carte-menu and an equaly limited wine/beer-list.
Food is OK but that's all you can say. We were never impressed by taste or quality.
Restaurant was quite dark too.
Like someone stated earlier : just an avarage restaurant with highly inflated prices.

Spent an evening in mid-December here, eating through the traditional Christmas ver-sion of a classic, Swedish smorgasbord (“julbord”). Even if the running of a restaurant in this modus operandi is quite different from your every day one, I think I could see what they are good at – and not.

The welcome was friendly, but not overwhelming. The food was fresh, full of taste, but far too often “off pitch”. The balance between the basic tastes was almost never in place and most of the time I was really longing for salt, pepper and sugar (!) to correct things. Even the house-snaps was totally unpleasant with a pungent vanilla aroma that killed most of the dishes effectively.

The service was ok – but too often plates were left behind, dropped cutlery was left lying on the floor until picked up by the guests and so on. All in all (and especially considering the bill) this place is not worth a visit. Stockholm has better places to offer.

This restaurant really impressed me. As a Stockholmer I have tried lots of restaurants in the city, and this one qualifies for a place at the top-end. I had grilled sirloin with truffle butter, roasted cauliflower and fried potatoes, as a whole it was great and full of flavours. The potatoes nearly matched the ones I had at Dinner by Heston in London (which are the best ones that I have ever tasted). My girlfriend had piece of pikeperch, steamed, with browned butter hollandaise, spinach and baked celery. The fish was moist and the sauce so good that she had to order more!

We were serviced by a great, quite young, guy that had both humor and service sense. He could be a bit more polished but that wasn't irritating, instead it added to the personal touch of the place. The restaurant is located on the beautiful island of Skeppsholmen in one of the 18th century naval base houses, which also added to the personal and coasy feeling of the restaurant.

If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere with good quality food this is the place.

Sorry to say the Restaurant Långa Raden it,s hard to find if you not staying at Hotell Skeppsholmen. The food and interior of the Restaurant hidden beside the tiny lobby it,s for real.Design, but in a suddle Nordic blend. Worth the walking distance from central Stockholm. Modern and classical cooking with a touch. Prompt service and nice presentations, a bit pricey.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel and, of course, on the first night decided to visit the restaurant at the hotel. We have visited this restaurant during a previous stop at this hotel in 2011, and then we have the most pleasant experience for him. Unfortunately, this time the experience was different. In early highlighted the badly washed glasses of water, the truth changed without problems. Ordered shrimp soup with toasts to the first and the steak and potato dumplings in creamy sauce. Did not like the steak - beef was too fatty. Overall experience (subjective) - ordinary cafe restaurant with a highly inflated prices.
