“Great choice”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2014

Location is as central as you get. Train from airport to T-centralen (central station in the centre of town), short walk and you're there. It's also the best spot from where to go somewhere else as all tube lines go from/thru here. Doesnt get any easier. (FYI, if you arrive with the arlanda express train, just keep walking in the trains direction, go thru doors to t-centralen and take the escalator up right after starbucks. keep walking straight, exit building and you're there).

Rooms are nice enough, with a scandinavian feel to them. We had room 1401, a room at the very end of the hallway on the business level. Nice views of Sodermalm and town hall, as well as a less pretty top of the conference hall right next to the hotel (but not something to be concerned about). Breakfast is included in the business class rooms and was a nice, big spread. So, it's a new, clean, well-run business type hotel in the centre of town - i'm not giving it 5 stars because although it's prob one of the best choices in town, it just lacks that little extra to make it "perfect". Although I keep talking "business" and that does seem to be the target audience, I came here with my wife on a what was both business and vacation. There are smaller, more intimate hotels in town that also are great choices, but for pure convenience this is a great choice for any traveller. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Views are nice and worth paying a little extra for, as is including breakfast as it's a nice big...

I was greeted at reception after an early arrival from overseas flight to Sweden. The staff was able to find an available room for me at 09:00. Wait staff was attentive and was able to greet me by name after just the firts day. Rooms were large, modern and well appointed. Morning breakfast was bountiful, the evening menue consisted of a wide choice of small plates and was enjoyed by our small group.

I was going to Stockholm for several days and wanted a comfortable, centrally-located hotel. The Radisson Blu Waterfront seemed like an obvious choice, since it's extremely close to Stockholm Central Station. In some ways, that worked out right. The hotel is 50 feet outside of one of the entrances to the station (follow the signs for the Congress), and since the Arlanda Express train from the airport stops at Central Station, the trip to and from Arlanda is a downright breeze. When I wanted to travel outside of the downtown Stockholm area to the suburbs, having commuter rail access from Central Station was also a breeze. But in terms of traveling around Stockholm itself, the hotel isn't really very well-located. It's about a ten-minute walk to the bus/tram station, which is where I picked up most of the travel for my trip.

Room itself was fine. Small, but most everything worked. Shower was weirdly positioned and the bathroom had sufficient tiny rises and falls in the floor to make a stubbed toe almost inevitable. Staff was very nice. I had breakfast in the hotel one morning and it was unmemorable beyond offering a reasonably-large spread.

I don't think I would stay here again, but that's mostly a product of my own preferences with regards to traveling. If you're looking for an easy trip to and from the airport, you really can't beat this hotel.

Being next to the central station and within walking distance of Old Town and many great restaurants made my experience here very positive. The staff were also quite friendly and helpful. The room had plenty of power outlets and a nice, large shower--something I don't see in most hotels outside of the US. The buffet breakfast is extensive and very good. From a value standpoint, it's hard to comment because overall, I found Stockholm to be ridiculously expensive. I don't think this hotel by itself is overly expensive with that context.

Good hotel for the night. Really close to the station, which was great from the fact we were leaving from there.

Great walking distance from just about everything in the city.

I personally don't like feather pillows, but the staff were more than happy to help out with some other pillows.... Always a sign of a good hotel!

Comfortable rooms, good English channels on the TV, good shower pressure and temperature and a nicely equipped gym.

Would definitely use this place again for a launching place for Stockholm.

Rarely am I so thrilled with a hotel stay. This central location (practically adjacent to the Central Transit Station) made it easy to access for touring the city or surrounding neighborhoods as well as other towns within commuter train distance. The food service was excellent and I had no trouble finding multiple options at the breakfast buffet or on the menu that accommodated my gluten intolerance and an allergy to dairy.

The location of this hotel is very practical, a 3 minute walk under roof from the Central station with lots of cafés and small shops along the way. Grocery shop underneath the station, lots of restaurants close by in the area, and the major shopping streets only a 10 minute walk.

The room itself is quite spacious, great bed, bathroom - and the room was very quiet, slept great. Stayed 3 nights and would go back again.

The only annoying thing is the mini fridge is fully automatic so when something is moved (to make space if you want to put something in there, like me - I always get milk to store in the fridge) it's billed to the room, even if you haven't consumed it. At check out, I had to explain and wasn't charged any extra.
